Special Celebration Honors Ten Years of Service

Salinas Valley Health is hosting a Community Health Day in tribute to the tenth anniversary of Taylor Farms Family Health and Wellness Center. For the past decade, the 20,000-square-foot-facility has been a trusted resource for health and well-being in the Salinas Valley. The Community Health Day celebration takes place on Saturday, October 25, and includes a soccer ball give-away, a cooking demo, a Zumba class and other entertainment and resources.

Fresh Air and Fresh Insight

Join radiologist Amy Lantis Stemerman, MD, for our next Walk With a Doc. Following a brief presentation on breast cancer awareness, Dr. Stemerman will lead the group in a two-mile walk over flat ground. Walk With a Doc takes place on Saturday, October 18, from 9:00am-10:00am, at the Badger Hills Trailhead of Fort Ord National Monument (across from Toro Café on Highway 68).

Expanded Zumba Class Offerings

A new option for free Zumba classes is now offered at the Salinas Community School in North Salinas on select Thursday evenings. Classes are also held on designated Mondays at Taylor Farms Family Health & Wellness Center in Gonzales and select Fridays at the Boys & Girls Club in Salinas.
