Sharing Lifesaving Information

Erica Locke, Emergency Medicine Physician, and Mike Isaacs, Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Educator, are making the rounds at school assemblies with lifesaving information about opioid overdoses. The two spoke recently at Salinas High School and North Salinas High where they explained the signs of an overdose, how to use the overdose reversal drug, NARCAN and distributed the medication. Future presentations are planned for the spring semester.
